Diane Newenhouse – Owner

I have been married to my wonderful husband for going on 33 years now. I love spending time with my kids and grandchildren. I also love spending time at our seasonal in the summer at Silver Lake. I have owned Creative Kids now for 6 years and I have loved every minute of it.

Samantha Newenhouse– Director

I have worked here at Creative Kids now for 6 years. My first 3 years were spent teaching the 2 1/2-3 1/2 year olds, then when I graduated in 2013 from Baker College in Muskegon I was promoted to the Director. My husband Derrik and I just got married in July 2017. In our spare time we enjoy hanging out with our friends and family.

Alex Clark– Nurture Nest Lead(6wks-9mts)

I have always loved kids I have never had another job other than working with kids. I became a nanny right out of high school, then I started working at Creative Kids. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood education from Baker College. Thanks for letting me love and nurture your babies!

Morgan Parks– Classroom Assistant

I just started working here at Creative Kids and my daughter also goes here. I am very family oriented and just love being around my family and friends. I love the outdoors and spending time with those I am close to.

Jenny Newenhouse– Busy Bee Lead(9mts-18mts)

I’m a single mom and live in the Hudsonville area. I have been working at creative kids day care for 11 years now. My son and I (which is William the cute little red head you may have seen around) love to spend time together making crafts, building legos and going to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. I also love to craft on my free time (if you need anything made I’m your girl.)

Jessica Gelder– Classroom Assistant

I started at Creative Kids in February of 2017. I live in the Hudsonville area with my parents and am an older sister to two little sisters (whom I love more than anything). I love spending my days with your kiddos whom we have the privilege of loving in everyday. Outside of Creative Kids, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, going to the beach, and shopping (yes, I’m a girly girl).

Kimberly Bosscher– Bunny Burrow Lead(18mts-2years)

I have lived in Jenison/Hudsonville area all my life. My husband Ken and I have been married for 34 years. We have 4 children, whom are all married, and 3 grandchildren. I graduated from Unity Christian & GRCC, where I majored in Child Development. I have been working in the child care field for over 25 years, and still enjoying every minute of it. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping and fishing.

Marrissa LaCombe– Classroom Assistant

I have a 8 month old daughter named Milaya who is currently in the Nurture Nest. I’m super girly and love to have fun and spend time with my daughter and my boyfriend Tylor.

Jesica Evers— Cub Cave Lead (2-3years)

I have been working at creative kids day care for 7 years now. I’ve been married for 4 years now and we have a beautiful little girl so far. I have been working with the 2-3 year olds and love every minute of it, they are so energetic and keep me on my toes. 🙂 I also enjoy to see them grow education wise. I love working with kids, it has always been a dream of mine.

Nicole Parlmer— Classroom Assistant

I live all the way out in Dorr. I have been working at the daycare for four years this past September. While working at the daycare, I have been going to school at Baker College of Muskegon. My major is secondary education in Mathematics and my minor in History. I have found my classes have helped me be a better assistant. I enjoy camping, kayaking, reading and spending time with friends and family

Kailee Boerman- Classroom Assistant

I am from Hamilton, MI. I graduated from Hamilton High School. While in school, I played volleyball and basketball. I have been working here since January 2017, and I absolutely love it. The kiddos are a blast!!

Shel Gruppen– Hedgehog & Caterpillar Lead (3-5 years)

I’ve been working in the Hedgehog room since Nov. 2013. I became the lead in the Caterpillar/Hedgehog room in Jan.2014. I’ve lived in the Hudsonville area most of my life. I’m married to Tom and we have 4 grown children. My husband and I volunteer, every weekend, as campground hosts for a non profit camp. Caring for children has always been a part of my life and I thank God for that gift everyday!

MeLissa Banfill— Classroom Assistant

I am a mother of two my daughter Isabel is 17 and my son Domanik is 14. My favorite animal is the Turtle my favorite colors are yellow and green.  I love working with kiddos seeing them grown and learn everyday I enjoy being apart of that and I learn a thing or two from them as well.

Melissa DeVries— Classroom Assistant

I have been with Creative Kids for a year and 4 months now. I work in the classroom downstairs; preschool aged kids are so much fun!!! I am a sophomore at GRCC and am currently studying Early Childhood Development. I love working with children and hope to become a preschool teacher in the future.

Cori Norris— Floater/Break Person

I have been here at Creative kids for almost 2 months. I work part time covering breaks from 9-3pm and enjoy working in all the classrooms. I had the opportunity be a stay at home mom for the last 5 years. I have an 8 year old daughter and a 5 year old son who attend Park Elementary school. I am on the Park Parents Club committee and volunteer in my kids classrooms. Some of my hobbies are going to my kids sporting events, running, skiing, and going on hikes with my family.

Amber Murphy— Classroom Assistant

I have been working here at Creative Kids since June of this year. I just graduated from Hudsonville High School and am now taking classes at GRCC. I will be going into Dental hygiene once I finish school. I absolutely love working with your children, it makes me so sad that I only work once a week.:( I have learned so much about myself from being around these kids, its such a blessing. Outside of work & school I enjoy hanging with friends and staying in shape.
